A two-time World Champion in Fine Harness, Sultan's Great Day is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful, black American Saddlebred Stallions of all time. Considered by many to be the best son of the legendary show horse and sire, Supreme Sultan (Valley View Supreme x Melody O'Lee), Sultan's Great Day's dam, Supremes Casindra, is a Stonewall King, Admiral Denmark and Kalarama Rex-bred mare.
 Sultan's Great Day won the 1983 Fine Harness Two-Year-Old Stallion/Gelding World Grand Championship and the 1984 Fine Harness Three-Year-Old Stallion/Gelding World Grand Championship with noted Saddlebred trainer, Donna Moore at the lines. Purchased shortly after his first Louisville win by his current owner, actor William Shatner, Sultan's Great Day has become a sire worthy of his priceless lineage. Sultan's Great Day offspring to date have accumulated an extraordinary eighty-six World Grand Championships and Reserves in all major divisions.
Several years ago, William Shatner, his Belle Reve Farm and trainer, Donna Moore, graciously consented to lease Sultan's Great Day to Battaglia Farms. The Arabian industry enthusiastically welcomed this unprecedented opportunity to breed to one of the world's leading Saddlebred stallions. In 2001, Arabian and half-Arabian mare owners from coast to coast booked mares to Sultan's Great Day, and included in their ranks were such notables as U.S. and Canadian National Champion Arabian Mare, Gaisha; National Champion English Pleasure, T Shannon; multi-National Champions, Monrovia X and Ames Queen, and the legendary *Bask++ daughter, Ming Jade.
